Where does my problem come from?
All of the problems experienced today have their roots in the past - which may seem so very obvious - but we re-live our past every time we think about specific events and thereby reinforce the lessons learned back then, re-generating the same biochemistry in our bodies as when the incident originally occurred. Who amongst us hasn't had that knotted knotted feeling in our stomach when thinking back to an event from the past?
Mind and body are not seperate.
We may not even remember the seeding incident for the problem experienced today. Children below six to seven years of age have no critical faculties, their minds are like sponges whilst they learn to survive in the environment they grow up in.
Occasionally where there has been exposure to acute or prolonged stress, an individual's mind may be unable to deal with the associated trauma. This is not in any way a weakness, but their body's way to protect them from what happened. This gives rise to PTSD - Post Traumatic Stress Disorder which can effect both children and adults.
Innocent behaviours leaned in earlier life can cause issues too - for example, happy events are often celebrated with food and alcohol, so for some people food and/or alcohol become associated with happiness and are used to re-create that emotion.
How can I make it better?
Initially the key is to talk - every person is unique, so there is no 'recipe' to resolve any specific issue. For instance, each person with arachnophobia has developed their phobia in a different way and there are innumerable situations that can result in an individual feeling that they're 'not good enough'.
Once there is an understanding of the circumstances behind the issue, therapy can begin.
What is Therapy?
Therapy is the method employed to change the way an individual thinks, reacts or responds to a situation. Hypnosis, EFT and EMDR are used to break the cycle of repeated thought patterns or responses that drive the problem being addressed and resolve issues of trauma and negative self-belief.
The patient is kept informed about which therapy is to be used at any particular time during the session and they have full control at all times. During hypnotherapy patients hear everything that's said to them and can sctratch their nose or wake themselves up if they feel the need at any time!
What is Reconnective Energy Healing?
Reconnective Energy Healing is unlike any other energy healing you may have experienced.
